FAQ
Essential Information
Have questions? Perhaps UXEXU has the answers. Here, you'll find clear and concise information about our services, process, and what to expect when working with us. If you need more details, talk to us!
Can you help turn my idea into a business?
Yes. We work with founders who have an idea and need help deciding what to build, who it should serve and how to bring it to market. That starts with the proposition. We examine the problem you want to solve, the customers you want to reach and the reasons they would choose your offer. Those decisions shape the brand and the product requirements. We can then carry the work through identity, product design and development. For Signed Asia, that meant taking an initial concept through business and product strategy, branding and the development of a contract platform. The scope depends on how far your idea has progressed and what you need to establish next.
Can you improve a product or website we already have?
Yes, although if you're coming to us with an existing website either something went really wrong with the previous development team and we'd like to find out more about that, or your website is dated and we may propose a new build. An existing website or product gives us something concrete to assess against your business goals and your customers’ needs. You may already know the problem: customers struggle to understand the offer, an important task takes too much effort, or the experience has fallen behind the business. We help define what needs to change and how the design and development work should address it. The work may concern a particular customer journey, the way information is organised or the product as a whole. Existing branding, content and technical constraints inform the scope. We establish what the project needs to achieve before deciding how extensive the changes should be.
What do you need from us to get started?
Start with your business, the problem you want to address and what you hope the project will achieve. Tell us who your customers are, what you currently offer and where you are finding difficulties. For an existing website or product, relevant material might include the site itself, customer feedback, brand guidelines and previous research. Examples of work you like can help explain your expectations, particularly when you can say what appeals to you. For a new venture, describe the idea and the decisions you have already made. A launch date or budget range is useful context. We can use the initial discussion to identify what is established and what still needs investigation.
What does your user experience and product design work involve?
We examine how people understand a service and complete the tasks it requires. That can involve customer journeys, information structure, interface design and user testing. The work concerns practical decisions: what someone needs to know before acting, which step should come next and where the experience creates confusion. A contract platform, for example, has to account for different participants and their responsibilities within the same agreement. Design turns those requirements into an experience that can be reviewed and developed. User testing helps examine whether the proposed design makes sense to the people expected to use it.
How are cost and project timescale determined?
Both depend on the scope and the starting point. A website with an established identity and ready content requires different work from a new application that still needs its proposition and product requirements defined. Technical complexity, content production and the decisions needed from your team also affect the schedule. We use the project discussion to establish those requirements and identify dependencies. The proposal should explain what is included, what needs to be supplied and how the work will be delivered. Where important requirements remain undecided, those decisions need to be addressed before a reliable estimate can cover the full engagement.
Do you provide ongoing support and maintenance?
Yes! We offer ongoing website maintenance, performance monitoring, and digital marketing support to ensure your online presence remains effective and up-to-date. Our support packages can be tailored to your needs. The service offers lead management, lead generation, client outreach, user retention, and a host of other techniques and approaches to earn and win you customers and business. We develop marketing and website experiences around attracting prospective customers and encouraging relevant enquiries. The work starts with the offer and the audience. We establish what would give someone a reason to respond, then develop the campaign content and the page they arrive on. That can include landing pages, persuasive copy, visual assets and enquiry forms. We also consider what happens after the response. The information collected should help your team assess the enquiry and take the next action. Lead generation needs to connect with your sales process so interest can progress towards a conversation, quotation or purchase.
Business is slow. Can you help?
Yes! We work on the content and website structure that help people find your business through relevant searches. We research how prospective customers describe what they need, then use that information to plan and improve pages. The work can include service and product copy, page titles, internal links and technical issues affecting access to the content. The aim is to attract people whose searches relate to your offer. We connect that work to what visitors need when they arrive, including clear information and an appropriate next step. Relevant enquiries provide a more useful commercial measure than traffic alone.
What differentiates UXEXU from other agencies?
We are masters of the pys-op. We don't simply develop good websites and social media posts, and hand them over. On the contrary, we explore consumer behaviour, consumer psychology and buyer economics and how these principles apply to your business. We write copy that explains the value of your offer and helps readers decide whether to act. We examine what the reader needs to understand, which objections require an answer and what evidence supports the claims being made. Good copywriting shapes the order of information. The strongest point needs to appear where it will help the reader, with enough detail to make the offer credible. We develop the wording alongside the design so the page’s structure and emphasis support the same message. Visual work can include campaign imagery, product visuals, illustrations and graphics. Each piece needs a defined purpose and a strategy: demonstrating the offer, explaining something difficult to describe or making the message recognisable within a campaign. An image used across a website, social feed and advertisement needs to work within each placement while retaining the intended focus. The brief establishes the required versions and how the visual material should work with the copy and brand identity.
